Cable networks have been airing a heavy rotation of originals in the summer for years to woo away viewers from broadcast, but this may be the most aggressive summer yet for the cable networks. Instead of airing new shows once or twice a week, many of them are laying out lineups with three or more nights of original programming, and TNT is the latest.
