Denney will start at NBCU next month. He will be based in New York and report to Gidon Katz, NBCU’s president of direct-to-consumer. In addition to Peacock, Denney will be responsible for product strategy for other customer-facing NBCUniversal digital platforms, including broadcast and cable entertainment apps, NBC Sports and reality-TV streaming service Hayu.
Jeff Moriarty, most recently senior VP, consumer products at Gannett/USA Today Network, will manage Nexstar’s portfolio of digital destinations across product, engineering and audience development.
FuboTV, the over-the-top live TV streaming provider, has tapped technology veteran Mike Berkley as chief product officer. He joins the company effective immediately, reporting to FuboTV CEO David Gandler. As chief product officer, Berkley will lead product strategy and development for FuboTV across platforms, including connected TVs, mobile and web.
Former Viacom executive Josh Cogswell will drive audience development and engagement across the company’s broadcasting, data and studio divisions.
