WGBH To Pay $300K For Sloppy Accounting
The U.S. government has reached a civil settlement with the Boston public TV station under which the media company will pay $300,170 to resolve allegations it failed to properly track and account for federal grant monies from the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Endowment for the Arts.
