The CW, Tastemade, AccuWeather and Microsoft Advertising have joined Community, a video advertising marketplace launched by Xandr, AT&T’s advertising and analytics division. Other Community partners include WarnerMedia’s CNN, TNT, TBS, truTV, B/R Live, Otter Media and Warner Bros. along with A+E Networks, AMC Networks, Cheddar, Bloomberg, Vudu, VICE, Hearst Magazines, Newsy, Philo, Tubi and Xumo.
AT&T’s advanced advertising and analytics subsidiary Xandr will roll out a new video advertising marketplace and enhanced addressable TV offerings during its upfront week event Tuesday. The new video ad marketplace will be called “Community” and will be cross-platform, encompassing OTT, CTV, digital and mobile.

Yahoo and Sony Pictures Television announced Monday that the show’s creator, Dan Harmon, will serve as an executive producer for 13 new episodes. The companies say cast members including Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs and Yvette Nicole Brown will come along as the axed NBC show moves online to Yahoo Screen this fall.
There is a glimmer of hope that there could be a sixth season of cult comedy series Community. Hulu is in talks with Community producer Sony Pictures TV for more original installments of the show, which was canceled by NBC earlier this month. Sources stress that conversations are preliminary and it is unclear whether they will lead to a deal.
Class Dismissed: NBC Cancels ‘Community’
NBC just placed the biggest possible roadblock on the road to six seasons and a movie: The network has canceled Community after five seasons.
NBC’s veteran comedy is on the fence once more, and it may be saved because the network’s other sitcoms are struggling. Another bubble show: Dracula.
The former showrunner is in talks with studio Sony Pictures Television for a return to the cult comedy he created.
Sony Pictures Television said Wednesday that the actor is leaving the sitcom by mutual agreement with producers. His immediate departure means he won’t be included in the last episode or two of the show’s 13-episode season, which is still in production.
A return date for both Friday night comedies has yet to be determined; Grimm repeats will instead air in the 8-9 p.m. slot.
