Announced on the 56th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Freedom to Vote expands on the network’s 2020 voting campaign Vote Actually, which helped encourage young people to cast their votes in local and national elections.
The nonpartisan effort kicks off Tuesday, Sept. 15 to encourage The CW’s multiplatform audience to get prepared to vote. Nonprofit partners include Vote.org, Spread the Vote and Vote Smart. Campaign PSAs will feature actors from The CW’s primetime series.
