Comcast’s pay TV business remains profitable, and the industry giant won’t chase unprofitable subscribers given the competitive marketplace, Dave Watson, CEO of the company’s cable systems unit said Tuesday.
Comcast Corp. said Monday that Dave Watson will become president and CEO of Comcast Cable as Neil Smit moves into a new parttime role as vice chairman of Comcast Corp., effective April 1.
