Letterman To Get Primetime Special Sendoff

CBS is planning a royal sendoff for it’s departing king of latenight. Outgoing Late Show host David Letterman, who will step down on May 20, will be the subject of a 90-minute primetime special celebrating his legendary career. David Letterman: A Life on Television will air on May 4 and will be hosted by Ray Romano, whose long-running CBS sitcom was produced by Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc.
