WABC, ESPN Plan High-Tech Marathon B’cast

After Superstorm Sandy forced the cancellation of the ING New York City Marathon last year, broadcasters are gearing up for a TV production that they promise will be one to remember. Several technology enhancements are expected to help streamline the production, including two new motorcycles, two new lead trucks, three helicopters and a complete overhaul of the receive-site setup.
