Entravision 1Q TV Revenue Is Down 7%
The Spanish-language station owner says the drop to $35.8 million is primarily due to the absence of one-time money in 2015 that wasn’t offset by increases in national and political advertising revenue as well as higher retransmission consent revenue.
The Hispanic group promotes Jose Villafane, putting him in charge of national sales across Entravision’s integrated media platform.

The first will be payable on Dec. 30 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Dec. 16. It’s also paying a special one-time cash dividend on the same dates. “Our strong financial performance and balance sheet offers us the opportunity to return value directly to our shareholders through the first quarterly dividend in Entravision’s history,” said Walter F. Ulloa, Entravision chairman-CEO.
The Hispanic broadcaster, which owns KSMS and KDJT-CA in the market, will provide marketing and sales services for Seal Rock Broadcasters’s Fox affiliate.
Entravision 1Q Television Revenue Up 5.4%
The rise comes from higher local ad revenue and retransmission consent money. Walter F. Ulloa, chairman-CEO: “Core revenue from our television and radio segments outperformed their respective industry averages, and we improved our free cash flow over the first quarter of 2012.”
