DTV Stations Must File Form 317 By Dec.1
Attention, all DTV broadcasters! It’s that time of year again. Your Form 317 is due at the FCC by Dec. 1. Since that’s the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend, you might want to start to focus on this now. Having trouble recalling just what Form 317 is all about? No problem. It’s the Digital Ancillary/Supplementary Services Report on which you have to report whether, between Oct. 1, 2013 and Sept. 30, 2014, your DTV station provided any ancillary or supplementary services for a fee and, if so, how much revenue the station received.
Filing Reminder For All DTV Broadcasters
Attention, all DTV broadcasters. It’s that time of year again. Your Form 317 is due at the FCC by Dec. 2. You get an extra day this year (since the normal due date, Dec. 1, falls on a Sunday), but that extra day should give you plenty of time to complete and file the form — assuming, that is, that CDBS hasn’t crashed under the weight of all the biennial Ownership Reports that are currently scheduled to be filed by the same deadline.
Reminder: FCC Form 317 Deadline Is Near
Don’t forget that by Dec. 3, all commercial and noncommercial full-power television stations, as well as all digital low-power, digital Class A and digital TV translator stations that are licensed or operating pursuant to Special Temporary Authority, must electronically file an FCC Form 317 with the commission.
Stations Must File Form 317 By Dec. 1
Hey, all you DTV broadcasters! Before you start to carve the turkey and settle in for a long Thanksgiving weekend of football later this week, don’t forget to make a note in your calendar that Form 317 is due at the FCC by Dec. 1. Form 317 is the “Digital Ancillary/Supplementary Services” Report on which you have to report whether, between Oct. 1, 2101, and Sept. 30, 2011, your station provided any ancillary or supplementary services for a fee and, if so, how much revenue the station received.
FCC Form 317s Are Due Dec. 1
By Dec. 1, all digital television stations must electronically file an FCC Form 317 with the commission reporting whether the station has provided any ancillary and supplementary services during the 12 months ending on Sept. 30, 2010.
