FX ordered another 90 episodes of the Charlie Sheen sitcom after a successful test run, clearing the way for broadcast syndication. Debmar-Mercury, which is handling the distribution, says the show is available for fall 2014.
Sheen’s ‘Anger’ Poised For 90-Episode Pickup
With his FX sitcom Anger Management half-way through its initial 10-episode run, Charlie Sheen say it’s poised to get an order for 90 more. Sheen told reporters Saturday that the prospect of continuing is as “exciting as hell,” and added cheerily, “I don’t think 90’s gonna be enough.”
FX has consciously carved a niche in the new television landscape, following a blueprint to lure younger viewers who marketers pay a premium to reach.
