Gray Television is launching a late night newscast focusing on the coronavirus pandemic, with Greta Van Susteren and Lee Zurik hosting. Full Court Press Now will launch on Monday across Gray’s stations in 93 markets. The show will draw on reporting from Gray’s newsrooms in local markets.

The cable news veteran and current host and moderator of Gray Television’s Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren, will explore the growing complexities and polarization of political reporting in an interview at the seventh annual NewsTECHForum in December.

Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren will focus on how policy actions, political decisions, and national events impact local communities across the country. It will debut in September across Gray’s footprint of 93 markets plus stations in Chicago and Milwaukee with additional clearances expected before then.

The cable news veteran is named the station group’s chief national political analyst. Gray’s Sandy Breland: “With her decades of covering current events and legal issues, Greta will provide an in-depth look at issues that matter the most to our viewers.”
Van Susteren began hosting a Washington-based 6 p.m. weeknight show at MSNBC on Jan. 9, joining the network after her 14-year run at Fox News Channel ended last summer following a financial disagreement. Before joining Fox, she had her own show at CNN. But with the Fox and MSNBC audiences usually diametrically opposed, it proved a poor fit.
