The replacement for Ross Greenburg joins from pay TV rival Showtime, where he has been EVP-GM of sports and events programming since 2003.
Ross Greenburg, who has run HBO Sports since 2000, is leaving the network after 33 years, saying he is fatigued by his work on its boxing business. He said he was not renewing his contract and was not being dismissed.
