Former NBCUniversal exec Heather Olander is on the verge of joining The CW to oversee its unscripted programming. The news comes after Deadline revealed that the Nexstar-owned company was in the hunt for an alternative chief to work alongside recently appointed President of Entertainment Brad Schwartz.
Heather Olander, executive vice president of alternative development and programming for NBCUniversal’s USA Network, Syfy and Peacock, is exiting the company after nine years as part of the greater corporate restructuring of the last few months.
