BBC director general George Entwistle has resigned his post two months after taking the post. The resignation comes in wake of the Jimmy Savile sex scandal. “I have decided that the honourable thing to do is to step down,” Entwistle said. Entwistle earlier Saturday said that he would not resign after the company on Friday issued a full apology.
