Big Boom In Hispanic Ad Spending

Third quarter ad spending pretty much stunk for most media. But there was one major exception: Hispanic media. While the overall media economy grew at a snail’s pace from July to September, up 0.3%, Hispanic media rose sharply,19.9%, according to Kantar Media. That was driven by huge gains for broadcast TV advertising, which grew 23.7%, more than three times the growth rate for English-language TV.
