Seattle Hyperlocals See Rising Ad Prospects
Tech-Savvy Seattle has given birth to dozens of hyperlocal news sites, and though a recent shakeout has seen some of the weaker sites fade away, those that remain, including several operated by TV stations, are in a good position to take advantage of a fertile local ad base.
In a partnership with DataSphere Technologies, 14 Belo television markets will be getting hyperlocal websites featuring content about local events designed “to help advertisers reach the audiences most relevant to their businesses.”
