The White House is condemning comments from Jesse Watters, a popular Fox News host, who complained this week about the instability and ongoing violence in the Middle East. In a statement Thursday, the White House condemned the host’s remarks, calling them “hateful lies.”
Jesse Watters Primetime will begin at 8 p.m. ET on July 17 as part of a revamped weekly nighttime lineup on Fox News. Laura Ingraham’s show will air at 7 p.m., with Sean Hannity’s popular program remaining at 9 p.m. Greg Gutfeld’s latenight show will move up to the 10 p.m. hour that was previously Ingraham’s time slot.
Comments by Jesse Watters, a host of The Five, were in keeping with previous derogatory remarks about Dr. Anthony Fauci by hosts and conservatives.
Fox News Channel’s panel show The Five relies on the combative camaraderie of its longtime hosts. Now patched together from five separate locations, its characteristic conversations can sometimes literally miss a beat.
