KTXT GM Realistic About Tough Job

John Kirby is in the honeymoon months of his position as GM of Lubbock’s public broadcasting station, Texas Tech’s KTXT. And while he does not try to hide his affection for the job, his employers and Lubbock, he also does not sugarcoat the situation he jumped into.With a grim countenance, Kirby says KTXT “has been the absolutely worst-managed television station in America for the past 50 years.”
