John Nogawski is leaving his post as president of CBS Television Distribution, the top supplier of syndicated shows to TV stations. He’s being succeeded by Armando Nuñez, who will head both domestic and international distribution.

With ratings in a slump, Dr. Phil and his producers decided to focus more on topical subjects that women can use to deal with real-life issues. It was a good move. His show has taken over the top talker spot that was occupied by Oprah before she left syndication for cable.
