Station Trading Roundup: 2 Deals, $12.75M
The sale of KAZA Avalon, Calif. (Los Angeles) by SCTV Inc. to Weigel Broadcasting tops the latest list of TV station transactions submitted to the FCC for its approval, according to BIA/Kelsey.
The Chicago-based group will pay $9 million for the KAZA Los Angeles. The station is licensed to Avalon, Calif., but broadcasts from Mount Wilson. At the same time, Weigel has agreed to pay $3.75 for KNLC St. Louis from New Life Evangelistic Center.
