The Missoula, Mont., NBC affiliate’s news director, Julie Weindel, would not collect or share footage of newly elected congressman Greg Gianforte’s assault of The Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs for NBC News in New York and the network’s affiliates as the story was breaking.
KTVM in Butte-Bozeman and KECI in Missoula, Mont., were No.1 and No.2, respectively, among all NBC affiliates in primetime ratings in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. They were also tops among households.
