Kevin Hunter is suing Debmar-Mercury for wrongfully terminating him from his longtime role as executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show. The complaint claimed he was fired “on the basis of his marital status, which is barred by the New York City Human Rights Law.”
Kevin Hunter is out as an executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show on the heels of Williams’ announcement that she plans to file for divorce from him, her husband of 22 years.
She joins with manager Kevin Hunter and Debmar-Mercury to form Wendy Williams Productions. They sign veteran reality producer Lisa Knapp as SVP of development for WWP’s slate of non-fiction reality, game and talk programming aimed at cable and broadcast markets.
