Kim Johnson Named President Of KBDI
Kimberly Johnson, who has been with the Colorado Public Television Denver outlet since 1989 and interim president-GM for the last year, was named president-CEO on Wednesday. The move represents a shift from a longstanding push for truly independent public television, along the lines of Britain’s Channel 4, to a more collaborative and economically sound version as espoused by others within PBS.
