WWLP Co-Founder Kitty Broman Dies At 97
A woman who was known in western Massachusetts as the “First Lady of Television” has died. One of the founders of NBC affiliate WWLP Springfield-Holyoke, Mass., in 1953, Kathryn “Kitty” Broman, died Sunday. She was 97, and would have turned 98 next month.
