Luis Patiño, a former president and GM at Univision Media Group, will lead KLRU (Austin PBS) as CEO. He succeeds Bill Stotesbery, CEO since 2004, who retired last year. COO Lori Bolding served as acting CEO during the transition.

Man Arrested In KLRU Bomb-In-Meat Call
Police say Marshall David Logan called 311 and stated there was a bomb in a piece of meat at the Austin PBS station. No bomb was found. Logan admitted to making the call and now faces a state felony charge for placing a false alarm report because the threat was made regarding a television station.
