The new openings, for a general sales manager and a director of sales, are in San Francisco and Columbia, Mo., respectively.

Joey Parker has joined the New-Press and Gazette Co.’s ABC affiliate KMIZ Columbia-Jefferson City, Mo. (DMA 138), as assistant news director. He joins the team from WUTR Utica, N.Y., where he was news director. Parker, a 20-year news veteran for 20 years, has worked at television stations in Florida, Alabama and Wyoming.
