The Salt Lake City NBC affiliate owned by Bonneville International says it will no longer be airing NBC’s Hannibal due in part to the show’s “extensive graphic nature.” Instead, it will produce a special edition of KSL 5 News at 9 p.m. on Thursdays to fill the time slot.

NBC affiliate KSL, one of the last TV stations in America to do on-air editorials, is ceasing the practice. And, as a consequence, longtime newsman Con Psarras will no longer be a fulltime employee at the station.
The network’s soapy drama will air on MNT affiliate KMYU after being dumped by Salt Lake City’s NBC affiliate KSL earlier this month.
