New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for an assistant chief engineer, an MMJ/reporter, a broadcast/IT engineer, a creative services producer, a director of technology, a sales support coordinator, a news director, an executive producer and a weekend anchor/reporter.
The sale follows Gray’s purchase earlier this year of Quincy Media and comprises stations in markets in which Gray already owns stations.
New jobs posted to TVNewsCheck’s Media Job Center include openings for a sales director experienced in diginet business, a chief engineer and video producer in creative services. The openings are located in New York, Iowa and Alabama.
The move follows Quincy Media’s adoption of the measurement service at its WXOW in La Crosse, Wis.
When KWWL realized its market had a racial disparity problem, it addressed it head on. “We were greatly disturbed by this ranking and wanted to do something about it,” said Mike Cunningham, the Quincy Media NBC affiliate’s marketing director. Viewers were impressed. “We are blessed to have the caliber of journalists we do in our market,” said one.
