Is Sinclair tweaking the design of its stations’ websites? If WJLA Washington’s site is any indicator, it looks like that may be the case. The group began revamping select station websites back in August, and now has pushed out some design and layout updates, starting with its D.C. ABC affiliate.

Hearst-owned ABC affiliate KETV leads Omaha local media on both total actions and fans/followers, according to data from Shareablee. It edges out Gray’s NBC affil WOWT in both categories, dominating both Facebook and Twitter.
The station group’s Commitment 2016 initiative includes local, regional and national debates and adds new features including “8 Issues/8 Weeks,” a cross-platform push to frame issues and candidates’ positions, and “Candidate Accountability,” which will explore whether candidates up for reelection kept campaign promises.
