NBCUniversal’s conflict talker Maury has been renewed for two more seasons in national syndication, said Tracie Wilson, EVP, creative affairs, NBCUniversal TV Distribution. That will bring the show to the 2021-22 TV season — Maury’s 24th in syndication.
The NBCU syndicated show will feature the “most outrageous and memorable Maury moments from the past 18 years” on its May 25 show.
The nationally syndicated talkers have been renewed for additional seasons in over 65% of the U.S. with broadcast station groups including Tribune, Sinclair and Hearst.

The station group may not renew Maury, Jerry Springer and Steve Wilkos beyond 2015-16, when its current contract with syndicator NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution ends, according to multiple sources. Tribune airs the shows in many markets, including six of the top 10.
