AP Municipal Bond Index Launches Monday

The AP hasn’t put its name on a financial market index since FDR was president, but it will do it again Monday with a new, branded index to measure municipal bond performance. In a memo sent out Friday, Global Business Editor Lisa Gibbs says the initiative makes sense because these bonds “offer windows into the financial health and doings of our states and cities, where AP’s reporting is second to none.”
