
In a move opposite to what TV is used to seeing, a streaming series is making the move to broadcast. Fantasy Football Pregame With Matthew Berry has been picked up by 11 NBC-owned stations across the U.S., and will begin airing in major markets this Sunday after debuting on Peacock just a few days ago.

The TV and digital news veteran oversaw the recent launch of NBC Owned Stations’ local news streaming channels on Peacock.

NBC Owned Stations across the country are adding new 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. newscasts to keep viewers informed about the latest coronavirus pandemic developments in their communities.
The platform, from Sunnyvale, Calif.-based software company Excitem, rapidly tallies phone and text message responses, letting on-air talent initiate a poll and then display the results within minutes. The same platform also delivers analytics, breaking out by area code where responses are coming from.
The 10 stations are producing two-and-a-half hours of specials leading up to the network’s telecast at 8 p.m. A new Zeebox app will deliver enhanced, more interactive experience.
The new 21st Century Solutions grant program rewards innovation at 30 nonprofits in all the markets in which NBC owns stations.
The iPhone photo sharing app has been integrated into the NBC Owned Stations’ production systems, to make it quick and easy to use viewer images on the air or online.
