NBCU Claims Tokyo Olympics Have Generated 100 Billion Minutes of Viewing

NBCU said that the Olympics are on pace to deliver more minutes in consumption than the average month of Netflix and March Madness combined. Viewers have streamed more than 3 billion minutes of Tokyo Olympics coverage across platforms, the company said.

NBCU Takes Branded Content Creation Public

The new NBCU Content Studio will develop and produce content for advertising clients, but that content won’t necessarily appear on any of its linear or digital platforms. The studio will tailor content for individual platforms while also appearing on the advertiser’s brand platforms, mobile sites and apps.
