‘Kelly Clarkson Show’ Tops 80% Of The U.S.
The new syndicated daytime show from NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution will debut this fall on NBC O&Os plus stations from Scripps, Hearst, Meredith, Sinclair, Gray, Hubbard, Cox, Tegna, Nexstar, Capital, Dispatch, Graham Media, Block, Watermen, Weigel, Quincy, Bahakel and Bonneville.
Rated 12th among syndicated talkers, the Meredith Viera Show is testing a range of possible changes, from airing live to adding a panel of recurring guests. “They realize they have a problem,” one executive says.
Telemundo and NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution will launch a new co-branded weekly segment called “Access Hollywood Al Rojo Vivo,” which will air Fridays at 5 p.m. ET on the Spanish-language network’s Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste. The segment will be hosted by entertainment reporter Jessica Carrillo and is produced in Los Angeles.
Barry Wallach has resigned as president, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution, a job he’s held since May 2004, citing personal reasons. There will be no immediate replacement for Wallach, with NBC Broadcasting Chairman Ted Harbert evaluating how best tp replace Wallach.
