The UNC-Duke barnburner that featured 18 lead changes and 12 ties produced the most-viewed NCAA Men’s Final Four telecast on any network since 2017. This comes as little surprise since last night’s meeting marked the first time the two legendary men’s basketball programs faced off in the history of the NCAA tournament.
The early rounds of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament drew fewer people than in years past. Viewership for the first two days of the tournament on Turner Networks and CBS was off 6% from last year, to 8.85 million total viewers.
