CBS on Monday announced the season finale dates for a total of 19 shows, including the aforementioned series finales as well as one two-hour season ender
NCIS: New Orleans, the youngest series in CBS’s formidable NCIS franchise, is coming to an end. The current seventh season will be the drama’s last, with the series finale slated for May 16. It will be the series’ 155th episode.
The agreement includes multiyear deals for NCIS: New Orleans and Hawaii Five-0.
As expected, CBS has renewed NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans the 2019-2020 season. NCIS: Los Angeles will be back for an eleventh season, NCIS: New Orleans for a sixth. The pickups follow the recent renewal of the mothership series NCIS as CBS is keeping the crime procedural franchise intact. The casts of both NCIS spinoffs are expected to return.

Turner-owned cable network TNT has snatched up rerun rights to the procedural starring Scott Bakula. The Kevin Reilly-led drama-focused network has landed the first three seasons of the series as well as subsequent seasons. NCIS: New Orleans began airing on TNT in early December. The news comes as flagship NCIS and spinoff NCIS: Los Angeles both air off-network repeats on USA Network.
Gary Glasberg, the longtime showrunner of CBS’s NCIS and creator of spinoff NCIS: New Orleans, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. CBS said he died in his sleep.
