NY Times Names Meredith Kopit Levien CEO

The New York Times Co. on Wednesday named Meredith Kopit Levien, the news organization’s chief operating officer, as its next president and chief executive, making her the youngest person ever to lead its executive ranks. She will succeed Mark Thompson, the executive who oversaw a transformation from print to digital, in September.

CNN, NY Times To Host 4th Dem Debate

CNN and The New York Times will jointly host the next Democratic presidential debate in mid-October, the outlets announced Friday. The debate will be held at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, on Oct. 15 and feature 11 candidates who have already been announced as meeting the qualifications for the debate stage.
