Pearlena Igbokwe To Head Universal TV

NBCUniversal has finalized a deal with Pearlena Igbokwe to become president of Universal Television, effective immediately. Igbokwe, most recently head of drama for NBC, replaces Bela Bajaria, who abruptly exited the post earlier this week. In her new role, Igbokwe will continue to report to Jennifer Salke, president of NBC Entertainment, who oversees the studio.

Bajaria Out, Igbokwe In As Universal TV Chief

Bela Bajaria is leaving her post as president of Universal Television. Sources with knowledge of the situation tell Variety that Pearlena Igbokwe, NBC Entertainment’s EVP of drama development, is set to succeed Bajaria as the head of the studio.
