The CW is bringing back three of its popular alternative series for the 2022-23 broadcast season. The network has renewed Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion for a ninth season and World’s Funniest Animals for a third season. Premiere dates are TBA.
The CW has picked up two of its unscripted series for new seasons. Both Penn & Teller: Fool Us and World’s Funniest Animals have been renewed, the former for an eighth cycle and the latter for a second cycle.
Whose Line Is It Anyway? will be back for a fifth season. The improv comedy series on Monday was renewed along with two other series.
CW has ordered new seasons of America’s Next Top Model, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion to air during 2015.
The network, which throughout the year typically airs nine drama series as part of its 10-hour schedule, is experimenting with a pair of new half-hour comedies, Backpackers (originally a digital series) and Seed, as well as magic series Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Masters of Illusion, as part of its summer lineup.
