At this time of year, the Broadcasters Foundation of America would like to remind you of colleagues who have fallen on hard times due to sudden illness, debilitating strokes, old age and general misfortune. You can help with a donation to the foundation’s Guardian Fund.
While Phil Lombardo (left) and Ray Cole may be selling most of their Citadel Communications, they’ve still got work to do — running and improving WLNE Providence, R.I., and KLKN Lincoln, Neb., and perhaps using the two to grow another group.
