Tegna’s over-the-top advertising unit Premion is using a new suite of blockchain-based technology from MadHive to prevent fraud, target campaign and verify ad delivery.
Premion, the seller of OTT advertising inventory for a number of platforms, says it is refunding money to advertisers for specific campaigns that ran during 2018 due to “system issues.” Premion, owned by Tegna, says its Premium Audience Selects segments have “not been delivered correctly,” and that it affects up to 17% of Premion total revenue.
Tegna’s premium CTV/OTT advertising solution adds Shawn Edwards, Doug Tierney and Tony Mastromatteo to lead its efforts in the Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and Philadelphia markets.
