Ryan Seacrest will usher in 2024 on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve from New York City’s Times Square on Dec. 31, alongside his host Rita Ora. There will once again be satellite locations in Los Angeles — hosted by Jeannie Mai — and a Spanish language countdown with host Dayanara Torres live from San Juan’s Puerto Rico Convention Center.

Ryan Seacrest said goodbye to Live With Kelly and Ryan on Friday, leaving the syndicated daytime show after six seasons. Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, will join her as co-host starting April 17.
After six seasons, Ryan Seacrest announced on today’s Live with Kelly and Ryan that he is leaving the syndicated show. Kelly Ripa, who has hosted the show since 2001, will be joined by actor and husband, Mark Consuelos, and the show will be rebranded as Live with Kelly and Mark.
Actress Liza Koshy and country artist Jessie James Decker are co-hosts. The show begins at 8 p.m. ET and ends at 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
The NAB DSA “honors broadcasters who have made a significant and lasting contributions to the industry,” the NAB said.
Seacrest has signed a multi-year extension of his deal to continue as host and executive producer of the annual ABC special, which is produced by MRC Live & Alternative. The extension will take Seacrest past the 20-year mark as host; this year’s broadcast, which is also the 50th anniversary of the first New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, will be his 17th.
