Brian Beneker, a script coordinator on the show who claims “heterosexual, white men need ‘extra’ qualifications” to be hired on the network’s shows, is represented by a conservative group founded by Trump administration alum Stephen Miller.
The military drama series starring David Boreanaz will conclude on the Paramount+ streaming service with its seventh season, which is set to go into production in early December and will air in 2024. Originating on CBS, the series moved to Paramount+ with its sixth season. The show was renewed by Paramount+ for Season 7 in January and obviously production was impacted by both the writers and actors strikes.
Yellowstone is set to make its broadcast debut as part of CBS’s fall schedule, which now includes a slew of reality series as well as a number of Paramount+ series such as SEAL Team and the original incarnation of Ghosts. The launch of Taylor Sheridan’s Kevin Costner-fronted drama, which is coming to an end with its fifth season on Paramount Network, is the headline of CBS’s reworked schedule, which has been impacted by both the writers strike and, now, actors strike.
The streamer has picked up a seventh season of the David Boreanaz-led drama. It will be the third installment that’s exclusive to Paramount+; the series ran for four seasons on CBS before moving platforms with season 5 in fall 2021.
CBS today announced premiere dates for five more scripted series – dramas FBI and spinoff FBI: Most Wanted, Bull and SEAL Team, and comedy The Unicorn. FBI and FBI: Most Wanted return for their third and second seasons respectively on Tuesday, Nov. 17, following the Season 18 premiere of NCIS.

The returning dramas are Bull, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary, MacGyver, SEAL Team and SWAT, while the news programs are 48 Hours and 60 Minutes.
Freshman CBS drama SEAL Team has received a full season order, the network announced Thursday. The series has been a solid ratings performer for the network already, its premiere drew a 1.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 9.8 million viewers in Nielsen’s Live+Same Day numbers.

The series premiere of CBS’s SEAL Team drew a 1.5 and 9.7 million viewers, making it the most-watched show of the night, building on its lead-in by 20% in total viewers.
