The NAB Educational Foundation will honor Gannett-owned KING Seattle; Capitol Broadcasting of Raleigh, N.C.,; and noncommercial WVIZ Cleveland at summer gala in Washington.
TV winners of the annual awards by the NAB Education Foundation are KRGV Weslaco, Texas; KWTV-KOTV Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Belo Corp. They will be honored in Washington on June 11.
Theose are the television station winners of the NAB Education Foundation’s annual Service to America Awards. They and the radio winners will be honored on June 6 in Washington at a dinner where Jeff Bridges and Target Corp. will also be recognized.
