Nicole Seligman has resigned her post as president of both Sony Entertainment and Sony Corp. of America, according to an individual familiar with the exit.
In a federal court filing, high-tech camera manufacturer Red Digital claims that three cameras made by Sony Electronics and Sony Corp. of America “all embody the subject matter claimed in Red’s asserted patents without any license.”
Michael Lynton has been named CEO of Sony Corp. of America, making official a report that first emerged earlier this month. Nicole Seligman becomes president, the company announced. Seligman was previously executive vice president and general counsel at Sony.
