Major League Baseball has delayed opening day by at least two weeks and canceled spring training games as of 4 p.m. ET today in response to the emergency situated created by the coronavirus pandemic. Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. made the decision after a call with the league’s 30 clubs and a consultation with the Major League Baseball Players Association.
