Chicago-based media corporation Weigel Broadcasting Co. has named Steve Farber the company’s new senior vice president of operations, effective April 20. Farber comes to Weigel from Tribune Broadcasting, where he has worked in numerous roles for 20 years.

After a year as acting GM of WGN Chicago, Steve Farber is moving back to a corporate job with Tribune Broadcasting where he’ll oversee the company’s digital networks.
