Steve Hawkins, both an anchor and news director at Bonten Media’s Tri-Cities, Va.-Tenn., NBC affiliate WCYB, is no longer with the station as of March 24.Hawkins’ career at WCYB began almost 35 years ago, when he earned a position at the station during his junior year of college in 1976.
