Tampa-St. Pete: Auto Drives TV Gains
The Florida market is on the rise thanks to healthy auto ad spending and some political spending ahead of the Aug. 26 Florida primaries, especially the gubernatorial race. Buyers in the market are bracing for a hectic fall once the general election political window opens on Sept. 5. Tampa’s TV market was fairly open in July, but inventory in August is tightening due largely to the auto category.
